The commander in Hai Duong city is diligent in his work.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Kha was appointed Commander of Thanh Binh Ward Military Command in 2021. Identifying training as an important task, every year he proactively builds a scientific training plan, fully prepares lesson plans, lectures, facilities, models, and training tools; regularly follows and closely monitors the unit throughout the training process.

The workload was heavy, while the Deputy Commander was still studying, and the force was small, so he had to arrange time and assign specific tasks to each person. At peak times, he had to work day and night at the office. During the day, he and his comrades in the unit and the mobile militia officers and soldiers made signs, reinforced and repaired models and teaching aids, and in the evening, he took advantage of the time to practice lesson plans and research and process instructions from superiors.

His efforts have contributed to improving the quality of training for the ward's militia force. The unit's achievements in participating in competitions and sports events have also achieved high results. Typically, in 2021, the Thanh Binh Ward Military Command won second prize, and in 2022, won first prize at the Hai Duong City Mobile Militia Platoon Sports Festival.

When asked about the motivation in carrying out the task, comrade Nguyen Duc Kha shared: “That is the passion and responsibility for the job. Besides, I also receive the attention and help of leaders, commanders at all levels and colleagues. In particular, my family always shares, supports, encourages, helps me to wholeheartedly devote myself to the job. With the viewpoint of working with all my heart, completing tasks with credibility, I always strive to be worthy of the trust of leaders, local authorities, superior agencies and the love of my teammates”.

With more than 20 years of working in the field of national defense and local military, in any position, comrade Nguyen Duc Kha always upholds the spirit of overcoming difficulties and being creative in his work. In the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army, he advises the ward Military Service Council to strictly implement the stages and steps according to the military recruitment process; closely coordinates with functional agencies to do a good job of propaganda and mobilizing the people, helping young people and their families clearly understand their responsibilities and rights to fulfill their sacred duty to the Fatherland.

“In the military recruitment work, the locality still faces many difficulties such as young people working far away, studying abroad or working abroad, many young people changing their place of residence. Based on the above situation, the Ward Military Command coordinated with the Ward Police to extract population data, create a list of citizens temporarily residing for 6 months or more to call for examination and recruitment. Therefore, every year, the ward completes the military recruitment target with good quality”, comrade Nguyen Duc Kha shared.

Lieutenant Colonel Truong Minh Nam, Political Commissar of the Hai Duong City Military Command commented: “Comrade Nguyen Duc Kha is a cadre with good moral qualities, solid expertise and skills; enthusiastic and responsible in his work; proactively advising many policies and measures for the local Party Committee and government in implementing local defense and military tasks. Every year, Thanh Binh Ward is always highly appreciated by superiors for its work in selecting and calling citizens to join the army.”

With his achievements, comrade Nguyen Duc Kha won the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level in 2022 and 2023; Hai Duong City People's Committee awarded him a certificate of merit in 2022 and 2023 for his excellent completion of local defense and military tasks.
