On the morning of October 10, the Hai Duong City Military Command coordinated with Vietcombank Hai Duong and Agribank Hai Duong branches to inaugurate and hand over a gratitude house to the family of martyr Chu Van Mich in Khanh Hoi residential area, Nam Dong ward (Hai Duong city).
Martyr Chu Van Mich was born in 1941, enlisted in 1965, and died in 1969 in Quang Nam. His wife, Ms. Hoang Thi Dung, born in 1945, had difficulty with housing. With the support of relatives, neighbors, and the community, Ms. Dung's family completed the construction of a new 90m2 house, with a total cost of about 700 million VND.
The Hai Duong City Military Command supported 70 million VND (voluntarily contributed by officers and soldiers in the unit). Vietcombank Hai Duong branch supported 50 million VND and Agribank Hai Duong supported 20 million VND for the family of martyr Chu Van Mich.
This is the third house of gratitude in Nam Dong ward built since the beginning of the year. Nam Dong ward currently has 165 families of meritorious people, including 8 cases of housing difficulties.
