To ensure that all children enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival according to national customs and traditions, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province requested provincial departments, branches, mass organizations and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to organize Mid-Autumn Festival activities in 2024 for children from September 6 to September 17 (ie from August 4 to 15 of the lunar calendar).

Organizing the Mid-Autumn Festival for children must ensure safety, prevent fires and explosions and risks of accidents and injuries; focus on protecting children's health, especially food safety and hygiene issues, and implementing regulations on disease prevention; create a joyful atmosphere, promote children's creativity, and at the same time preserve national cultural identity.

Strengthen inspection and supervision of food safety and hygiene at food production and trading establishments serving the Mid-Autumn Festival; inspect, prevent and promptly handle the trading of cultural products and toys that are violent, anti-educational, contain toxic substances, and are not suitable for children.

The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs mobilizes organizations and individuals to support the Children's Support Fund and give gifts to children. Directs the Social Protection Center to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival for children in special circumstances who are being cared for, raised and studying at the center.

The Department of Education and Training directs the implementation of Mid-Autumn Festival activities for children in general schools and kindergartens, combined with learning promotion activities at the beginning of the new school year.
