On July 24, 2021, the Government issued Decree No. 75/2021/ND-CP, but the standard level to determine the levels of subsidies and preferential allowances for people with meritorious services to the revolution remains the same at VND 1,624 million.

Pursuant to Resolution No. 69/2022/QH15 of the National Assembly on the state budget estimate for 2023, from July 1, 2023, the subsidy standard for meritorious people will be increased to ensure that it is not lower than the poverty line for urban areas.

According to Decree No. 07/2021/ND-CP of the Government stipulating multidimensional poverty standards for the period 2021-2025, the poverty line for urban households is 2 million VND/person/month. On that basis, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has proposed that the Government adjust the preferential subsidy standard for people with revolutionary contributions.
