Improving the effectiveness of women's start-up models

In the 4 years from 2018 to 2022, women proposed nearly 400 startup ideas, of which 43 were awarded. 500 women were supported to start their own businesses and start their own businesses.

On the afternoon of December 22, the Provincial People's Committee reviewed Project 938 "Propaganda, education, mobilization, and support for women to participate in solving a number of social issues related to women in the period 2017-2027" and Project 939 "Supporting women to start businesses in the period 2017-2025".

Concluding the preliminary review session, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested that in the coming time, the Provincial Women's Union, relevant departments, branches, units and district-level People's Committees continue to effectively implement the Provincial People's Committee's plan on implementing projects. The Provincial Women's Union builds and replicates positive examples and good practices that bring high efficiency. Continue to maintain and improve the effectiveness of models of mobilizing women to proactively solve social issues related to women and models of women starting businesses; advise and propose policies to solve social issues related to women and support women starting businesses...

In the period of 2017-2022, the Provincial Women's Union signed 8 coordination programs with relevant functional sectors on family work, ensuring safety for women and children. Districts, towns and cities organized over 4,000 training courses, propaganda sessions, seminars, forums, competitions, thematic activities... attracting 560,000 female cadres and members to participate in solving social issues. In the 4 years of 2018-2022, women proposed nearly 400 startup ideas, of which 43 ideas were awarded. 500 women were supported to start businesses and start businesses in suitable industries and occupations.
