The OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council of Nam Sach district proposed to rank 5 Chu Dau ceramic products with 5 stars.
On August 23, the OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council of Nam Sach district organized the ranking of 16 products participating in the "One Commune One Product" program in 2024.
There are 5 products of Chu Dau Ceramic Joint Stock Company in Thai Tan commune, including the following vases: Giot Ngoc, Hoa Lam, Phu Quy, Thien Nga and Ty Ba vases that meet all standards to propose the Central Council to classify them as 5-star OCOP products.
These products are made from Truc Thon white clay (Chi Linh); kaolin is mined from the Ancestral Land (Phu Tho). The ingredients are mixed with alluvial water of Thai Binh River. The glaze is extracted from rice husk ash - this glaze has been established as a unique Vietnamese record. The products are completely handcrafted and meticulously crafted by the skillful hands of many artisans. The products are crafted through many stages such as pouring, painting patterns and firing.
6 ice cream products of Trang Tien Technology Joint Stock Company No. 1 and Ngoc Phu Quy milk grapes of Phu Dien High-tech and Organic Agriculture Cooperative (both in Phu Dien commune) were proposed to the Hai Duong Province OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council to consider recognizing them as 4-star OCOP products this year.
In addition, the Korean melon products of Le Thi Huyen's business household in Nam Hung commune, and sausages, Chinese sausages and ham of Vu Thi Quyen's business household in Hong Phong commune were awarded 3-star OCOP by the OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council of the district.
Nam Sach district currently has 30 products in 12 communes that have achieved 3-star and 4-star OCOP certification. It is expected that this coming November, the district will continue to rank 11 products participating in the second phase of the OCOP program.
