On February 5, leaders of Nam Sach District People's Committee visited, encouraged and commended Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang (born in 1975) in Nguyen Van Troi area (Nam Sach town). Ms. Trang was the person who saved 3 students from drowning on the afternoon of February 1 (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year) and was first reported by Hai Duong newspaper.
Nam Sach district leaders hope that Ms. Trang will take care of her health and continue to do many good things for the community. In the coming time, district leaders will continue to direct the strengthening of drowning prevention for children.

Previously, at around 5:00 p.m. on February 1, 3 students from Nam Sach town (Hai Duong) and some friends went out to play in the urban area west of Nam Sach town when they unfortunately had an accident. 1 girl and 2 boys fell into the lake.
Ms. Trang was walking around and discovered the incident. She immediately climbed over the railing and jumped into the lake to save the children. Afterwards, she, her husband and Mr. Nguyen Tri Dung (born in 1970 in La Van Cau area, Nam Sach town) brought the three children to shore safely.
Ms. Trang's brave action has spread widely and received praise from many people. The Emulation and Reward Board, Department of Home Affairs of Hai Duong province has also proposed the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to give Ms. Trang an unexpected reward.
