On the evening of June 14, in Chi Linh City (Hai Duong), a girl is suspected of committing suicide at Mat Son Lake due to depression, still holding a teddy bear in her arms.
Speaking with Hai Duong Newspaper reporters, the leader of Sao Do Ward People's Committee (Chi Linh City) confirmed that a girl had just committed suicide in the ward at Mat Son Lake, near Nguyen Luong Bang Street.
The incident occurred at around 7:30 pm on June 14. The victim was Ms. D.NV, born in 1993 in Thai Hoc 3 residential area, Sao Do ward. According to initial information, Ms. V. left home. Ms. V.'s father went looking for her, discovered the heartbreaking incident and pulled his daughter's body from the lake. When she was brought to shore, Ms. V. was still holding the teddy bear in her arms.
Ms. V. has a history of depression and was just picked up from the hospital by her family this morning.
At 9:45 p.m., authorities were completing procedures to hand over Ms. V's body to her family for funeral arrangements and continuing to investigate the cause of the incident.
