Leaked English exam for grade 10

On June 4, the Department of Education and Training of Kon Tum province sent a document requesting the provincial police to investigate the individuals involved and the scope of influence of the leaked English exam questions. After the results are available, the Department will report and submit to the Provincial People's Committee to adjust the 10th grade enrollment plan for the 2023-2024 school year accordingly.

According to the Department, on the afternoon of June 2, after candidates finished their English exam, suspicions of leaked exam questions appeared on social media. The post was accompanied by a photo of the content that was almost identical to the exam questions for this subject.

When working with the teachers who created the exam questions, one admitted that a 9th grade student she tutored had taken a photo of the exam questions from her home printer. The female teacher admitted her mistake and affirmed that she did not copy or take photos of the exam questions for the students.

The 10th grade public entrance exam in Kon Tum province took place from June 2-4, with more than 6,600 candidates. Candidates took three subjects, including Literature, Math and English. For the English subject, the test-making team consisted of three members, including two teachers and a specialist from the Department.
