Taking cardboard from a business in Cam Giang, 5 subjects received sentences

According to the indictment, at about 10:30 a.m. on October 12, 2023 at the company Nishoku Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Tan Truong Industrial Park, Tan Truong Commune (Cam Giang), took advantage of being assigned to manage the company's cardboard export and import, and some subjects appropriated the company's assets.

Nguyen Duy Thuan (born in 1992, residing in Quang Thanh commune, Kinh Mon) agreed with Nguyen Thi Hue (born in 1976, residing in Lai Cach town) as the cardboard buyer, Nguyen Van Hoang (born in 1970, residing in Thai Duong commune, Binh Giang) as the driver and 2 assistants Dao Van Doan (born in 1982, residing in Hong Khe commune) and Nguyen Van Van (born in 1974, residing in Binh Minh commune, both in Binh Giang district) to appropriate 300 cardboard boxes and 2,500 cardboard cushions with a total value of more than 8.2 million VND.

In this case, Thuan was the initiator, so he played the first role. Hoang and Hue were the active practitioners from the beginning, so they played the second role. Doan and Van were accomplices, helping, and played the third role in the case.

The People's Court of Cam Giang district sentenced Nguyen Duy Thuan to 28 months in prison; Nguyen Thi Hue to 26 months in prison with a suspended sentence; Nguyen Van Hoang to 27 months in prison with a suspended sentence; Dao Van Doan and Nguyen Van Van to 25 months in prison with a suspended sentence, all for embezzlement.
