The overlapping boundary between the new residential area of ​​Dam Cho and the road in the existing residential area used to be a complicated issue in Phu Thai town (Kim Thanh). Many people in the town sent petitions to the provincial authorities requesting a solution. At the end of 2022, the Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Kim Thanh district, Le Anh Dung, met and had a dialogue with the people of Phu Thai town. After listening to the opinions of the people, the leaders of Kim Thanh district worked with the investor of the Dam Cho residential area, the related households and directed the relevant authorities to resolve the issue. Thanks to the active participation of the local Party Committee and authorities, the enterprises and the households have found a common voice and agreed to resolve the above issue. At the end of September, the Secretary of the Kim Thanh District Party Committee will meet and have a dialogue with the people of Co Dung commune, a locality that used to be complicated in terms of mass complaints.

“The district leaders determined that the contact and dialogue must be substantive, so they chose places with issues that need to be resolved to hold the conference. The district Fatherland Front and the commune government organized to collect opinions from the people of Co Dung commune before the contact and dialogue in order to better understand the people's opinions and proactively prepare the content to answer the people,” said comrade Le Anh Dung, Secretary of the Kim Thanh District Party Committee.

In Chi Linh City, for many years now, the dialogue between the heads of Party committees and authorities with the people has also been carried out seriously and systematically. In 2022, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee organized 8 meetings and dialogues with the people, receiving and synthesizing 323 opinions and recommendations from the people, of which 310 opinions were answered right at the conference. The heads of Party committees and authorities of communes and wards in Chi Linh also organized 91 meetings and dialogues, answering nearly 1,500 opinions and recommendations from the people at the conferences.

Many issues were resolved promptly, contributing to reducing complex and prominent problems at the grassroots level. For many years, Chi Linh has not had any mass, prolonged, or over-level complaints. Comrade Nguyen Thi Hai Yen, Head of the Chi Linh City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, said: "In the city, up to now, there has not been any organization or individual who has failed to implement or has been slow to implement the conclusions and instructions of the conference chair, leading to disciplinary action."

Close to people

In recent years, the leaders of Hai Duong province have also strictly implemented the contact and dialogue with the people of all walks of life. Recently, the provincial leaders had a dialogue with more than 1,000 cadres, civil servants and public employees in the education sector. The conference attracted hundreds of opinions and recommendations on hot issues in the education sector. Along with the request for leaders of departments and branches to respond to the opinions and recommendations at the conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee assigned relevant agencies to promptly respond and resolve the opinions and recommendations of the delegates, and complete the report before December 31. In particular, issues under the province's authority must be resolved immediately.

Attending the conference, teacher Vu Van Sang, Principal of Tu Ky High School shared: “At the conference, I suggested that the province pay attention to and facilitate the organization of professional title promotion for cadres and teachers and consider organizing promotion through recruitment. I was very impressed with the conclusion of the Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang on the contents, in which my request was answered in detail, specifically, clearly, especially clearly assigning time for departments and branches to implement and report”.

Along with the meetings and dialogues, the provincial leaders strictly implemented the reception of people to promptly grasp, handle and resolve citizens' reflections, recommendations, complaints and denunciations. Many specific issues and cases related to policy implementation, site clearance, land violations, etc. have been directed by the provincial leaders to be resolved thoroughly, bringing quick results. In particular, the Provincial Party Secretary regularly went to inspect the situation, always ready to dialogue with people in places where there are complicated issues related to support and compensation for site clearance such as in Cam Hung commune (Cam Giang), Cam Che (Thanh Ha) ... and answered and resolved thoroughly, appropriately and in accordance with regulations the opinions and recommendations of the people.

This is also an important solution to create consensus among cadres, party members and people, contributing to maintaining stability and socio-economic development in localities."
