On the morning of January 5, the Provincial Youth Union and Student Association of Hai Duong province organized the opening ceremony of the 2023 Student Badminton Tournament.
Provincial Youth Union Secretary Nguyen Hong Sang presented flowers to the participating teams.
The tournament attracted 52 athletes from 7 colleges and universities in the province. Immediately after the opening ceremony, the players competed in men's doubles and mixed doubles.

This is the first year that the badminton tournament has been held for students of colleges and universities. The tournament is one of the practical activities, creating a useful and healthy playground for youth union members, celebrating the 73rd anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students and the Vietnam Student Association (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2023).
On January 6, the Organizing Committee will close and award prizes.
