In the summer of 2024, Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union continued to coordinate with Engineering Brigade 131 - Navy to organize the program "Semester in the Army".
The “Military Semester” program is for children aged 10-15 who are in good health. Units will coordinate to organize 2 classes, each with 100 students. According to the plan, the first phase will take place from June 15-21.
During the 7-day training period at the 131st Engineering Brigade (Hai Phong City), the children experienced the military environment, were educated about the history of the Vietnam People's Army, were equipped with life skills, teamwork, drowning prevention, escape, and visited naval units and the Navy Museum.
Registration time for "Military Semester" is from April 10 to May 5 at the Youth Employment Service Center, Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union.
This is the 13th year that Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union has organized the "Semester in the Army" program and the 3rd year in collaboration with the 131st Engineering Brigade. The program helps students understand the military environment, practice discipline, order, will to overcome difficulties and the demeanor of a soldier.
