Hanoi City Police have summoned and requested the driver to bring the vehicle involved in the incident of a Mazda CX-5 pushing a motorbike on Vinh Tuy Bridge to headquarters to assist in the investigation.
On February 19, Road Traffic Police Team No. 5, Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police summoned and requested the driver to bring the vehicle involved in the incident of a Mazda CX-5 car pushing a motorbike on Vinh Tuy Bridge to the headquarters to serve the investigation.
Previously, at around 4:40 p.m. on February 18, in front of Long Bien Secondary School on Co Linh Street (in Long Bien Ward, Long Bien District, Hanoi), a traffic collision occurred between a car and a motorbike driven by Mr. DTT (born in 2001, residing in Tu Son City, Bac Ninh Province), carrying his wife, Ms. NTTT (born in 2001) and their child, DPN (born in 2023).
Notably, after the collision, the car driver did not stop but continued to drive away, pushing the motorbike under him for a long stretch on Vinh Tuy bridge towards Minh Khai street.
The collision injured Mr. DTT and his son N. and they were taken to the emergency room. Currently, the health of both Mr. DTT and his son has stabilized and they have been discharged from the hospital. At 9:30 p.m. the same day, Mr. DTT's family reported the incident to the authorities.
Upon receiving the information, Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 urgently verified and identified the car involved with the license plate 30E-908.xx. The driver of the vehicle was NLT (born in 1968, residing in Dong Da District, Hanoi City). The police are urgently investigating and clarifying the incident to handle it according to the law.
