Kinh Mon invested nearly 80 billion VND to build a road from the town center to Trieu bridge.

On July 17, at the 17th Session, the People's Council of Kinh Mon town, term II, 2021-2026, passed a resolution approving the investment policy for the project to build a connecting road from the center of Kinh Mon town to Trieu bridge with a total cost of 79.9 billion VND.

The road connecting Kinh Mon town center to Trieu bridge (section from That Hung ward to Pham Thai ward) is 2.04 km long, asphalt concrete road surface, 7.5 m wide. The designed route has a bridge across the river with a span of 24 m, a bridge surface of 7.5 m wide, reinforced concrete structure; drainage system; lighting system... ensuring the prescribed standards.

The project aims to reduce traffic on National Highway 17B, connect areas within the town; connect Kinh Mon town with Quang Ninh (via Trieu bridge), Hai Phong (via Dinh bridge); convert land on both sides of the current route from agricultural land into industrial, service, commercial land... to promote socio-economic development of Kinh Mon town.

The project is invested by the Town Construction Investment Project Management Board, with a budget of 79.9 billion VND from public investment sources of Kinh Mon Town budget and other legal support sources. The project implementation period is from 2024-2026.
