Kim Thanh District (Hai Duong) has completed the construction of 9 new headquarters for commune police, being one of the first localities in the province to complete the plan to build commune police headquarters.
By early October 2024, Kim Thanh district had completed the construction, repair and put into use 10/18 commune-level police headquarters, reaching 100% of the plan.
There are 9 newly built commune police headquarters including: Cong Hoa, Kim Xuyen, Kim Lien, Ngu Phuc, Kim Tan, Kim Dinh, Dong Cam, Dai Duc, Tam Ky and 1 repaired headquarters is Tuan Viet commune police.
The total investment cost for construction and repair is over 57 billion VND. Of which, the provincial budget supports 75%, the district budget supports 25% of the capital according to the total approved project investment.
Kim Thanh district is one of the first localities in the province to complete the target of building a commune police headquarters.
For the remaining localities: Binh Dan, Lien Hoa, Lai Vu, Thuong Vu, Co Dung, Phuc Thanh, Kim Anh, Phu Thai town will merge administrative units or expand administrative boundaries in the period of 2023 - 2025, the district will not invest in building headquarters.
The construction and completion of the commune police headquarters aims to overcome the lack of facilities and living and working conditions for officers and soldiers, contributing to the regular commune-level police force to fulfill its tasks well and serve the people better.
