Launching the new interface of Hai Duong Provincial Electronic Information Portal

Leaders of Hai Duong province pressed the button to launch the new interface of Hai Duong province's electronic information portal.

Comrades: Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Quang Phuc, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, and leaders of a number of departments, branches and localities in the province attended the ceremony.

Comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan, Executive Director of the Boston Global Forum, former Editor-in-Chief of VietNamNet Newspaper, and his colleagues accompanied and supported Hai Duong province in upgrading and changing the interface of the Hai Duong Provincial Electronic Information Portal to attend the ceremony. The program was also connected online to the bridge in Boston (USA) with the participation of a number of experts and researchers from Harvard University, MIT and a number of international organizations.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang and Provincial People's Committee Chairman Trieu The Hung presented souvenirs to Boston Global Forum Executive Director Nguyen Anh Tuan.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung expressed his joy at the launch of the new interface of the Hai Duong Provincial Electronic Information Portal. On behalf of the provincial leaders, he sincerely thanked the Executive Director of the Boston Global Forum and professors and experts who have helped Hai Duong province throughout the process of building and developing the upgrading of the Provincial Electronic Information Portal.

Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung said that over the past years, the construction of e-government, towards digital government has been vigorously implemented, initially achieving positive results. The application of information technology has significantly contributed to improving the management and operation capacity of state administrative agencies, promoting administrative reform, creating opportunities to promote economic growth, improve competitiveness and attract investment in Hai Duong province.

Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung, Head of the Editorial Board of Hai Duong Electronic Information Portal delivered the opening speech at the ceremony.

Hai Duong electronic information portal was built and put into operation since 2010 with the role of a bridge to convey the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and the government's direction and management information to the people and businesses. Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung said that this is a reliable address, providing official information to domestic and foreign readers, providing information related to online public services for people, businesses and the system of documents issued by the Provincial People's Committee, promptly reflecting the quality of the direction and management of the Provincial People's Committee, and the activities of the leaders of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee.

Emphasizing that the launch of the Provincial Electronic Information Portal with a new interface is an important milestone, Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung affirmed that this creates a new method, with two-way interaction in communication between government agencies and people and businesses, ensuring speed, transparency and efficiency. Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee believes that this new interface will narrow the gap in space and time in communication, helping people and businesses, investors have accurate information to monitor, participate, give comments as well as promote and invest in Hai Duong province.

The new interface of Hai Duong Province's Electronic Information Portal includes 4 main sections.

In the coming time, in order for the Hai Duong Provincial Electronic Information Portal to maximize its effectiveness as a bridge between government agencies and people and businesses, the Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, sectors, unions, and People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities to uphold their sense of responsibility and pay more attention to the electronic information pages under their management; closely coordinate with the Editorial Board of the Provincial Electronic Information Portal. The Editorial Board of the Provincial Electronic Information Portal needs to innovate its working methods, working style, and quality of information updates; proactively coordinate with agencies and units to fully integrate the Provincial Database to serve the leadership, direction, and administration of the Provincial People's Committee, contributing to promoting the image, potential, and development strengths of Hai Duong province to people, businesses, and domestic and foreign investors.
