Expelled from the Party the former Chairman and many officials of the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation

According to the Inspection Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee has issued a warning to the Party Delegation of the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation for the 2018-2023 term; and expelled from the Party Mr. Mai Xuan Anh, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, former Secretary of the Party Delegation, former Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation for the 2018-2023 term.

The Inspection Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee also decided to issue a disciplinary reprimand to the Party Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation for the 2015-2020 and 2020-2025 terms; and to discipline many officials of the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation for the 2018-2023 term..

Specifically, the Party expelled the following women: Pham Thi Thuy Linh, Party Committee member, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Party Cell Secretary, Head of the Finance Department of the Provincial Federation of Labor; Pham Thi Nhung, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Party Cell Secretary, Head of the Department of Legal Policy and Labor Relations of the Provincial Federation of Labor; and Mr. Pham Dung, Deputy Head of the Department of Legal Policy and Labor Relations of the Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor.

Disciplinary warning for Mr. Tran Van Cuong, former member of the Party Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, former Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, former Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor. Disciplinary reprimand for Mr. Nguyen Van Nam, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Chairman of the Agricultural Trade Union, former Secretary of the Organization - Inspection Party Cell, former Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor.

Inspecting when there were signs of violations against the Party Delegation of the Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor for the 2018 - 2023 term, the Inspection Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee determined: The Party Delegation of the Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor for the 2018 - 2023 term violated the working regulations, violated the principle of democratic centralism, loosened leadership and direction, lacked leadership and inspection, leading to many violations and shortcomings, allowing the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor to not properly implement the regulations of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in financial management, collection and distribution of union financial revenue, leading to the risk of large revenue loss, allowing a number of individuals who are officials, civil servants of the Provincial Federation of Labor and grassroots union officials to violate the law and be prosecuted for investigation according to the provisions of law.

The violations and shortcomings of the Provincial Labor Federation Party Committee for the 2018-2023 term caused serious consequences, reduced the prestige of the Party organization and the trade union organization, caused negative public opinion in society, to the point of requiring disciplinary action. Mr. Mai Xuan Anh, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, former Secretary of the Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation for the 2018-2023 term, is primarily responsible for the violations and shortcomings of the Provincial Labor Federation Party Committee for the 2018-2023 term.

Related to the above violations and shortcomings, there is also responsibility of a number of party organizations and party members of the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation.

On July 13, 2023, the Investigation Security Agency of Hai Duong Provincial Police initiated a criminal case of embezzlement of property occurring at the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation; prosecuted and temporarily detained Mr. Mai Xuan Anh and Ms. Pham Thi Nhung to investigate the crime of embezzlement of property. Mr. Nguyen Van Nam was also prosecuted for investigation of the crime of lack of responsibility causing serious consequences and will continue to be subject to Party disciplinary action according to regulations.
