Former Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation arrested

On July 13, 2023, the Investigation Security Agency of Hai Duong Provincial Police issued a Decision to prosecute the criminal case of "Embezzlement of property" occurring at the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation. At the same time, it issued a decision to prosecute the accused and issued an Order to arrest the accused for temporary detention, a Search Order for the residence and workplace of Mai Xuan Anh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, former Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation; Pham Thi Nhung - Head of the Department of Legal Policy and Labor Relations - Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation to investigate the crime of "Embezzlement of property" as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 353 of the 2015 Penal Code.

The above decisions and orders have been approved by the People's Procuracy of Hai Duong province. Currently, the Investigation Security Agency of the provincial police is focusing on investigating and clarifying according to the provisions of law.

Mr. Mai Xuan Anh was born in 1969, from Long Hung commune, Van Giang (Hung Yen), graduated from university with a degree in law. Mr. Mai Xuan Anh was a delegate of the Provincial People's Council for the 16th and 17th terms.
