The Israeli Defense Forces attacked a mobile rocket launcher believed to belong to the Hezbollah movement in southern Lebanon, two days after a ceasefire agreement came into effect.
On November 29, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it had attacked a mobile rocket launcher believed to belong to the Hezbollah Movement in southern Lebanon, two days after the ceasefire agreement took effect.
According to an IDF statement, this was a precautionary move against the risk of enemy attack.
Despite the ceasefire, the IDF has imposed a curfew in southern Lebanon for the past three days and has urged residents to stay away from military areas on the northern border, especially the Western and Upper Galilee, as Israeli troops continue to operate near the Lebanese border.
In addition, the Israeli military issued a statement stating that there were "unexploded ordnance" there.
In the same day, Hezbollah leader in Lebanon, Mr. Naim Qassem, made a positive statement after reaching a ceasefire agreement with Israel.
He pledged to cooperate at a high level with the Lebanese army in implementing the ceasefire terms signed with Israel.
