Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz on November 27 affirmed that he would direct the country's military to resolutely implement the ceasefire agreement and said that the country's most important goal now is to rescue all hostages held by Hamas. The Israeli military also issued a travel warning in southern Lebanon from 5 p.m. on November 27 to 7 a.m. on November 28.

Hezbollah also confirmed that it is cooperating with the Lebanese government regarding the deployment of government troops in the south. The United Nations peacekeeping force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) announced that it will coordinate with relevant parties and adjust its operations according to the new situation.

On the same day, the Lebanese army began to increase its deployment in the Litani River area in the South and consolidate state power there in coordination with UNIFIL.

Meanwhile, US Special Presidential Envoy Amos Hochstein, who brokered the ceasefire, stressed that the document would be long-term, not just for 60 days. He also said that the effectiveness of the agreement was more important than its quick implementation.

Also on November 27, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the country supports any agreement that helps end the conflict in Lebanon and Moscow hopes for a solution that ensures fair security for all parties involved.

Earlier, the Israeli Security Cabinet on the night of November 26 approved a ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, paving the way for an end to the conflict that has lasted for more than a year.
