Coach Kim Sang Sik made a disparaging statement about Vietnamese players?

In recent days, a number of social media football forums have continuously posted comments by Vietnam national team head coach Kim Sang Sik about the level of Vietnamese players after watching matches in the V-League.

Specifically, some sites wrote: "After attending several V-League matches, the Korean coach had the following assessment:

The players' thinking and playing style lack method, there is almost no connection. The players' physical strength is extremely poor, only playing well for the first 40-50 minutes of the match. V-League teams mainly rely on the strength and scoring ability of foreign players."

On the morning of May 27, VFF confirmed that the above information was completely fabricated, mainly for the purpose of "attracting views".

"Coach Kim Sang Sik has not given any interviews to any press agencies since the head coach announcement ceremony and has not made any negative comments about Vietnamese players," the announcement from VFF wrote.

This is the second time VFF has had to speak up to correct false information about the new head coach of the Vietnam national team.

The first time was on May 17, when VFF and Mr. Kim Sang Sik's representative company affirmed: Coach Kim Sang Sik is not using any social media accounts at the present time. Social media has appeared many news sites and personal accounts using the name and image of Coach Kim Sang Sik to post information and statements that are not true.

Mr. Kim Sang Sik's representative company also issued a warning: "We are ready to take necessary legal measures against individuals and organizations that are impersonating and defaming the image of Coach Kim Sang Sik."
