More than 320 athletes participate in the Sports Festival of the Emulation Block of State Management Advisory Agencies on Economics

On the morning of November 8, at the Hai Duong Provincial Sports Gymnasium, the 2024 Emulation Sports Festival of the State Management Advisory Agencies on Economics took place, hosted by the Department of Industry and Trade (the head unit of the 2024 block).

Attending the event were comrade Luu Van Ban, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The sports festival was attended by more than 320 athletes who are officials, civil servants, and workers from 9 departments, branches, and sectors in the Emulation Block of State Management Advisory Agencies on Economics, including the Departments of Industry and Trade, Natural Resources and Environment, Construction, Agriculture and Rural Development, Information and Communications, Transport, Industrial Park Management Board, Construction Investment Project Management Board, and Cooperative Union.

Athletes compete in table tennis, badminton, chess and tug of war. Football has been on since November 1.

As a result, in table tennis, the first prize in the men's team event went to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. The first prize in the men's singles event went to athlete Nguyen Minh Kha (Department of Information and Communications). Athlete Vu Le Son (Department of Natural Resources and Environment) won the first prize in the men's singles event. The pair of athletes Nguyen Truong Lam and Le Thanh Cong (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development) won the first prize in the men's doubles event.

In badminton, athletes Nguyen The Thanh and Nguyen Ba Hao (Cooperative Alliance) won first prize in men's doubles; first prize in women's doubles went to athletes Ngo Thi Phuong Thao and Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh (Department of Natural Resources and Environment); athletes Bui Duy Dong and Nguyen Thi Dieu Loan (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development) won first prize in mixed doubles.

Athlete Nguyen Van Tho (Department of Construction) won first prize in Chinese chess. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development won first prize in tug of war. The first prize in football belonged to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

The sports festival aims to strengthen solidarity, exchange and learning among units in the block. This is also a practical activity to celebrate the country's major holidays.
