Ms. Hoa has lived in Dong Vang since she was a child. After her mother died of cancer, she followed her father to Gia Lai to start a business and live. Around 2019, after getting married but the economy was unstable, Ms. Hoa and her husband returned to their hometown to live. Having no house, the couple rented a small house to live in. She has 2 children, one born in 2013, the other born in 2020. Her husband works far away, is often away from home, and there is no one to look after the children, so Ms. Hoa only applies for seasonal jobs. Sympathizing with the situation of the mother and children, a relative let her family stay in a small house in Dong Vang village. From daily work and support from relatives, Ms. Hoa and her children have enough to live on.

The accident happened unexpectedly on March 21. Ms. Hoa climbed up to pick tamarinds to sell for money and unfortunately fell. Immediately after the accident, her family took her to the Provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment and diagnosed her with a broken neck, fractured skull, and cerebral hemorrhage. Due to the serious progression of her illness, Ms. Hoa was transferred to the 108 Central Military Hospital for emergency treatment. After 15 days in the hospital, Ms. Hoa had brain surgery, and the skull tissue is being cultured at the hospital's tissue bank. According to the doctors, when Ms. Hoa's health is stable and responds to treatment, surgery will be performed to transplant tissue. This tissue culture costs a lot of money. Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuoi, Ms. Hoa's sister, said: "Currently, my sister is still in the Intensive Care Unit, 108 Central Military Hospital. With her current condition, my sister's treatment time will be prolonged and will certainly leave sequelae."

Since her hospitalization, Hoa’s family has had to pay more than 100 million VND in hospital fees. This number will continue to increase every day. The family must pay all medical expenses themselves because Hoa does not have health insurance. Hoa’s father has also just come from Gia Lai to take care of his daughter, but his finances are not good so he cannot help.

"With an unstable job and two young children to raise, Ms. Hoa's family's finances are very difficult. Now that disaster has struck, the family's situation has become even more difficult," said Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Long, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hong Lac Commune.

Ms. Hoa is in dire need of the community's support. Please send any support information to Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuoi, in Dong Vang village, Hong Lac commune (Thanh Ha), phone number 0979.798.791, account number 0979798791, Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB bank).
