Carscoops has just posted the latest photos of the 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLC EV version. Notably, Mercedes' best-selling SUV no longer wears camouflage but instead wears a pretty eye-catching blue slimline decal, creating a gentle shape that looks like wind or flowing water.

This is considered a tactic to "tease" images in the form of camouflage by the German car company. But thanks to that, viewers can visualize most accurately the appearance of the commercial version that will be officially launched in 2026.

Interestingly, the front design of the GLC EV is quite similar to Acura (a luxury brand of Honda). The brand's signature star-shaped LED daytime running lights also appear at the front.

The body is smooth, the aerodynamic side panels with hidden grab handles based on the electric car style and the 5-spoke wheels are quite beautiful.

At the rear, the taillight cluster design is not too clear but has a "3-pointed star" graphic like some launched models. The biggest highlight at the rear is the arrangement of the battery charging position in the middle. The overall design of the GLC is reminiscent of the German car company's sedans and coupes from the 1960s.

The GLC EV is built on the German automaker's all-new MB.EA platform, which is also used for the upcoming electric C-class sedan, rather than the MMA platform used on the smaller CLA. However, the two platforms are said to share many features, including an 800V electrical system and the ability to accept charging stations with up to 320kW of power. This allows the car to charge from 10 to 80 percent in less than 18 minutes.

According to Carscoops, the GLC EV has many versions and can travel more than 640km on a full charge.
