Hai Duong provides additional support for teachers in public institutions from 700,000 - 1 million VND/person/month

That is the content stated in the Resolution on piloting policies to support teachers at public educational institutions in Hai Duong province, recently issued by the Provincial People's Council.

Accordingly, teachers who are civil servants, including principals, vice principals, and teachers at public preschools who have not yet covered their regular expenses, will be supported with 1 million VND/person/month.

Teachers who are teaching staff at general education institutions, public vocational education - continuing education centers that are not self-sufficient in regular expenses and have an income (from current salary and allowances) of less than VND 6 million/month from January 1, 2024 until the salary increase according to Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW dated May 21, 2018 of the Central Executive Committee on reforming salary policy for cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces and employees in enterprises and teachers with an income of less than VND 7.4 million/month from the salary increase according to Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW will be supported at the rate of VND 700,000/person/month.

Teachers are supported monthly in cash and are not used to calculate social insurance contributions and other allowances. The support funds come from the provincial budget.
