Proposal to support public preschool managers and teachers with 1 million VND/month

On October 31, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province issued a Decision to unanimously approve the policy proposing to develop a Resolution of the Provincial People's Council stipulating the policy to support managers and teachers of public preschools in Hai Duong province. The beneficiaries are managers and teachers of public preschools in the province (including officials teaching preschool programs, including teachers, principals, and vice principals). The support level is 1 million VND/month and will be implemented for 24 months. The implementation period is from January 1, 2024. The support will be implemented monthly and will not be used to calculate social insurance contributions and benefits and other allowances. The support funding will come from the provincial budget.

Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Home Affairs to coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee Office and relevant agencies and units to develop and complete the dossier proposing the development of a Resolution of the Provincial People's Council regulating the above support policy; advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council for consideration according to regulations.

Recently, teacher recruitment in Hai Duong province has encountered many difficulties, especially for preschool teachers. Most teachers still face many difficulties and great work pressure.
