According to oriental medicine, tapioca starch has a sweet taste and cool properties, helps to cool down, cure headaches, high fever, diarrhea, dysentery, hangovers... and is preferred during summer days.

Method 1: Mix raw tapioca starch

Put 2 tablespoons of tapioca starch into a cup, add sugar to taste, add 150ml of cooled boiled water and stir well to dissolve the sugar and tapioca starch. Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to enhance the flavor. Add ice cubes, decorate with lemon slices for more eye-catching effect.

Drinking raw retains a lot of the nutrients in tapioca starch, so it is nutritious. This method is used for fever, sunstroke, heatstroke, and hangovers. However, because tapioca starch is processed by hand, it cannot avoid impurities and bacteria. Therefore, children and pregnant women with weak stomachs should not drink it raw.

Method 2: Cook until thick like porridge or soup

Put 2-3 tablespoons of tapioca starch into a cup, add appropriate sugar, then add 10ml of filtered water and stir until the tapioca starch and sugar dissolve. Then, add boiling water (just boiled) and stir until it becomes thick. If you mix a lot of tapioca starch, put it in a pot and stir over low heat until it becomes thick like soup.

Cooking cassava starch reduces its medicinal properties and nutritional value. However, it is safe for health, helps digestion, strengthens the spleen, and nourishes the stomach. Children and pregnant women should use this method.

    Attention:

You should only drink 1 cup of tapioca starch/day in the morning or 20 minutes before eating.

Adjust the amount of sugar to taste, add lemon juice to make it easier to drink.

When cooked, dissolve in cold water before adding hot water, stir well to avoid lumps.
