Nine projects with more than 5,300 apartments in Hanoi have been approved by authorities as eligible for business.
The Hanoi Department of Construction has just updated the list of future housing projects eligible for sale in the area, as of the end of August. Accordingly, the housing supply in the capital will soon have more than 5,300 apartments in 9 projects.
The largest project is located in the new urban area of Tay Mo - Dai Mo - Vinhomes Park (Vinhomes Smart City urban area) with over 2,400 apartments. This project is invested by Anh Sao Trading and Business Development Company Limited. The commercial name of this project is Lumi Hanoi.
Next is the apartment building on lot F4-CH02 in Vinhomes Smart City urban area with more than 1,330 apartments. The project invests in building high-rise housing combined with commercial services and low-rise housing Sunshine Crystal River with 955 high-rise apartments and 60 low-rise apartments. This project has the commercial name Noble Crystal Tay Ho.

According to regulations, a project will be allowed to be put into operation when it has documents on land use rights, project documents, and approved construction drawings. Apartment buildings and mixed-use buildings with residential purposes formed in the future must have a record of acceptance of completed foundation.
Housing supply in the Hanoi real estate market fell sharply two years ago. It was not until the first half of this year that housing in the capital recovered. Of which, about 10,700 new apartments were added - almost the same as last year.
It is expected that by 2026, Hanoi will have more than 45,000 apartments. However, the supply of affordable housing may still be in short supply as investors mainly bring luxury and high-end products to the market.
