The Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong has just issued a document directing the implementation of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDDT dated December 30, 2024 of the Minister of Education and Training regulating extra teaching and learning.
One of the notable contents is that teachers of public educational institutions who participate in extra-curricular teaching outside of school must report in writing to the Principal or Director of the unit.
It must clearly state the main contents: duration, time, address and form of extra teaching. Educational institutions must strictly manage extra teaching outside of school by teachers according to regulations; report on teachers' participation in extra teaching outside of school.
In addition, for extra teaching and learning in schools: educational institutions review and adjust extra teaching and learning plans in schools from February 14, 2025 to ensure compliance with the regulations in Circular 29/2024/TT-BGDDT. Focus on organizing review and consolidation of knowledge for final year students in grades 9 and 12 to ensure effectiveness, quality, and compliance with regulations; report on extra teaching and learning plans.

Educational institutions strengthen solutions to improve the quality of formal teaching; strictly implement teaching plans for subjects and educational activities. Train students' self-study awareness and guide students in learning methods. Assign students appropriate and effective self-study tasks at home. Encourage students to actively review and consolidate knowledge through online teaching tools, applications, and software to improve learning outcomes.
Strengthen the application of information technology and artificial intelligence in teaching, testing and evaluation to improve teaching effectiveness. Actively participate in professional activities to exchange, share and learn teaching experiences to improve quality. Regularly coordinate with parents, authorities, local organizations and unions in management work, especially the management of extra teaching and learning.
