SJC gold bar price continuously sets new records

Saigon Jewelry Company listed the price of SJC gold bars at 83.5 - 85.9 million VND/tael for buying and selling, an increase of 100,000 VND/tael for selling compared to yesterday. The difference between buying and selling prices increased from 2.3 million VND to 2.4 million VND.

In yesterday's session, this item also increased by 700,000 VND/tael.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited listed the price of SJC gold bars at 83.6 - 85.8 million VND/tael for buying and selling.

The listed price of gold rings is 73.62-75.22 million VND/tael for buying and selling, unchanged from yesterday's session.

The price of SJC gold bars fluctuated in the opposite direction to the world price. In the international market, the listed price of gold remained unchanged at 2,300 USD/ounce.

SJC gold price skyrocketed after the State Bank canceled the third gold bar auction after four calls for bids.

Many investors and experts believe that the starting price of this 4th auction is higher than the previous 2 times, up to 82.9 million VND/tael. With this starting price, there were not enough units participating and it was the push that pushed the price of gold bars on the market to skyrocket to a new historical peak.

With the increase last week, the price of SJC gold in the market continued to widen the gap with the world gold price to about 16 million VND/tael. This is the second consecutive week that the price of SJC gold has widened the gap with the world gold price.

In the currency market, the central exchange rate listed by the State Bank is 24,245 VND/USD, up 4 VND/USD compared to yesterday. Commercial banks buy USD at 25,147 VND/USD and sell at 25,457 VND/USD.
