Nearly 600 students from Hai Duong City took the 9th grade excellent student exam

This year's exam attracted 581 candidates, a decrease of about 160 students compared to last year. These are 8th grade students in the 2023-2024 school year, with good training results, good academic performance and an average score of 8.5 or higher in math, natural science, English, and computer science and 8 points or higher in literature, history and geography.

Students take the exam in math, literature, English, computer science, natural science (biology, chemistry, physics), history and geography (history, geography). This is the first year that Hai Duong city has organized an exam for excellent students in computer science.

The test duration is 150 minutes. The test is in essay or multiple choice combined with essay. The English subject has a listening and comprehension section according to the regulations of the Department of Education and Training.

The Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong City will select candidates with the highest scores from 1st to 25th to continue to round II. Those with the same score at 25th place will all take round II. At the end of round II, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong City will select the best candidates to participate in the provincial exam.
