On the morning of January 26, comrade Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, led a delegation to visit, congratulate Tet and present gifts to a number of families of meritorious people and outstanding elderly people in Tu Ky district and Military Hospital 7 on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung visited, presented gifts and wished a happy New Year to 4 families in Tu Ky district, including: Mrs. Tran Thi Chat (born in 1938, mother of martyr Ngo Gia Cam in Don Giao village, Cong Lac commune); Mr. Pham Xuan Man (born in 1941, a resistance activist infected with toxic chemicals in An Lao village, An Thanh commune); Mr. Nguyen Van Hoc (born in 1952, war invalid) and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lac (born in 1923, elderly, both in Mau Cong village, Quang Trung commune).
At the places he visited, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung kindly asked about the health and life of the meritorious people and the elderly in Tu Ky district. He was delighted that the meritorious people, the elderly as well as those under social protection in Tu Ky district in particular and the whole province in general were cared for through many social security programs.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung affirmed that the families of the meritorious people have made many contributions and sacrifices for the revolutionary cause of the nation, building and developing the country, so the Party, the State and Hai Duong province will always pay attention and take care of them regularly.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and Tu Ky district to continue to pay attention to and promptly resolve policies and regimes for people with meritorious services and families with meritorious services; regularly organize gratitude activities, especially educating the tradition of patriotism and national pride for the local young generation, not letting the tradition of "remembering the source of water when drinking" fade away. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wished families a joyful, warm and happy New Year of Giap Thin 2024.
At Military Hospital 7, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the hospital's efforts in treating and taking care of people's health, especially soldiers and people with meritorious services. He requested that during the 2024 Lunar New Year, the hospital prepare carefully, ready facilities and human resources to take care of patients' health. He wished all staff, doctors, nurses and hospital employees good health and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also visited and presented gifts to a number of meritorious people being treated at Military Hospital 7.
