On the evening of July 9, at Dai Yen Multi-purpose Gymnasium (Quang Ninh), the 41st Nhan Dan Newspaper National Table Tennis Championship closed after 5 days of competition. Before the closing ceremony were the finals of men's and women's singles, but without the participation of Hai Duong players.

On the same afternoon, Doan Ba ​​Tuan Anh of Hai Duong was eliminated by Dinh Anh Hoang of T&T in the semi-finals with a score of 4-2 and accepted the bronze medal in the men's singles.

Thus, at the end of the tournament, the Hai Duong table tennis team only won 2 silver medals (men's doubles and mixed doubles), 3 bronze medals (men's team, women's team and men's singles), failing to complete the set target of winning 1-2 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.

The Hai Duong table tennis team participated in the tournament with 18 players, competing in 7 events: men's team, women's team, men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles. Players Nguyen Duc Tuan, Doan Ba ​​Tuan Anh and Bui Ngoc Lan were present in the 2 final matches of men's doubles and mixed doubles, but lost to T&T and the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City alliance.
