Haval H6 HEV: 100 million VND discount

The Chinese car model Haval H6 HEV will be discounted by 100 million VND from May 22, reducing the car price from 986 million VND to only 886 million VND.

In addition, the dealers of this car company also support customers with 50% of the registration fee, equivalent to about 49-59 million VND depending on the area. Thus, buyers will save about 149-159 million VND when completing the rolling procedure for this car model.

The Haval H6 has only one version, equipped with a hybrid system with a 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine and an electric motor, with a capacity of 243 horsepower and a torque of 500Nm. After 8 months of launch, the Chinese Haval brand still faces many challenges to reach Vietnamese users.

The C-class SUV was criticized for being expensive right after its initial listed price was announced at VND1.096 billion. Two months later, the car had to be heavily discounted to VND234 million, then adjusted to a price below VND1 billion.

Volkswagen Teramont: Discount of 430 million VND for VIN 2023 cars

The 7-seat SUV Volkswagen Teramont VIN 2023 has continued to reduce by another 30 million since May, bringing the total discount to 430 million VND compared to the listed price. The car price has decreased from 2.499 billion VND to 2.069 billion VND.

The Volkswagen Teramont is an E-size SUV that competes with rivals such as the Ford Explorer and Hyundai Palisade. However, the German model has the highest price in the current segment but customers complain about its "poor" equipment and amenities.

The Teramont is equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline engine with a capacity of 220 horsepower and a torque of 350Nm, combined with a 7-speed automatic transmission and a full-time four-wheel drive system. This parameter is still weaker than the Ford Explorer with a 2.3L turbocharged gasoline engine, a capacity of 300 horsepower and a torque of 431Nm. In addition, some users said that the experience of carrying a full load on the Volkswagen Teramont is sluggish and lacks acceleration.

Ford Explorer: 300 million discount for VIN 2022 cars

Ford Explorer belongs to the E-size SUV segment and has a listed price of up to 2.399 billion VND. In January, this model dropped sharply by more than 400 million, down to only 1.999 billion VND. By May, Ford Vietnam increased the price of Explorer by 100 million, and is currently selling it for 2.099 billion VND. This price is still 300 million VND lower than the original listed price. However, customers can only buy VIN 2022-2023 cars (manufactured in 2022-2023).

Honda Accord: Discount 220 million VND

Due to sluggish sales, Honda Vietnam reduced the price of the Honda Accord by VND220 million, reducing it from VND1.319 billion to VND1.099 billion. Although this price is cheaper than the Toyota Camry (VND1.105-1.495 billion), it is still higher than the KIA K5 (VND859-999 million) and Mazda6 (VND769-899 million).

Currently, many dealers are discounting this model by about VND100 million, bringing the price down to VND1.169 billion. After the promotion, the highest-end version of the Hyundai Santa Fe is even cheaper than the listed price of the Honda CR-V L AWD (VND1.31 billion).

Hyundai Santa Fe used to be the best-selling model in the D-segment SUV segment, and is now at the end of its life cycle.
