The first locality in Hai Duong announced students admitted to "high quality" 6th grade

Accordingly, 198 candidates were admitted to the "high-quality" 6th grade of Phan Boi Chau Secondary School for the 2024-2025 school year, exceeding the initial enrollment target by 8 students. These 8 candidates had the same score as the last candidate, ranked from highest to lowest according to the enrollment target. The student with the highest score was 18.5 points, the lowest was 13.75 points. These are the scores of the 2 tests assessing math and Vietnamese proficiency along with priority and incentive points (if any).

According to the assessment of teachers and students, this year's exam was suitable, closely followed the program, and had high differentiation. The score distribution was higher than initially expected. In math, there were 2 candidates who scored 10 points, students from An Thanh Primary School and Quang Phuc Primary School. In Vietnamese, there was 1 student from Hung Dao Primary School with the highest score of 8.75 points. The list of successful candidates was posted at Phan Boi Chau Secondary School.

Tu Ky is the first locality in the province to organize a capacity assessment test and announce the list of successful candidates for the “high quality” 6th grade in the province. The announcement of successful candidates is also 1 day earlier than the original plan.

Previously, on June 7, the Tu Ky District Department of Education and Training organized for 388 students to take the high-quality 6th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year at Phan Boi Chau Secondary School. Students took the math and Vietnamese test (60 minutes) in the form of multiple choice and essay. In the 2024-2025 school year, the school recruited 190 students, an increase of 30 students compared to the previous year.

On June 9, Hai Duong City was the second locality in the province to organize a test to assess the capacity of students entering grade 6 at key secondary schools. The remaining localities will organize the test from June 10-20.
