On the morning of May 1 (April 1 of the lunar calendar), the People's Committee of Kinh Mon town held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the 771st death anniversary of King An Sinh Tran Lieu (1251-2022); announced the decision to include the Cao An Phu Temple Traditional Festival in the list of national intangible cultural heritages and the decision to recognize the An Phu-Kinh Chu-Nham Duong Complex as a provincial-level tourist area.

King An Sinh Tran Lieu was born in 1211, the eldest son of the retired emperor Tran Thua. He was married to Princess Thuan Thien by King Ly Hue Tong and was given the title of Prince Consort. In 1237, the court granted him the land of An Phu communes (now Kinh Mon), An Duong, An Sinh, An Hung, An Bang (now Dong Trieu, Uong Bi (Quang Ninh) as fiefs and granted him the title of King An Sinh. He helped the king defend the Northeast region, build and develop the Hai Dong sea area into a rich place, strong in economy and national defense.

King An Sinh Tran Lieu was the father of King Hung Dao Tran Quoc Tuan. He devoted himself to raising his son, finding good teachers to train his son to become a loyal and filial man, talented in both literature and martial arts, leading the army and people of Dai Viet to defeat the Yuan-Mongol invaders in the second and third resistance wars. In 1251, King An Sinh passed away at An Phu palace. King Tran Thai Tong posthumously granted him the title of King Kham Minh, and ordered the people to build a temple on An Phu mountain.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Department of Cultural Heritage awarded the certificate of Cao An Phu Temple Festival being included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage to Kinh Mon town. The provincial leaders awarded the decision on recognition of the provincial-level tourist area for the historical relic and special national scenic spot of An Phu-Kinh Chu-Nham Duong Complex.

Improve the ability to manage relics and organize festivals. Continue to collect and supplement documents to restore traditional rituals, ceremonies and folk games in accordance with the ancient festival in order to preserve the unique values ​​of the traditional festival of Cao An Phu Temple, meeting the needs of enjoying cultural values ​​of local people, domestic and international tourists. Preserving the space of the relic complex, paying attention to protecting the natural landscape and environment. Actively and proactively speed up the progress of completing the dossier to submit to the Provincial People's Committee to request the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Prime Minister to approve the planning.
