On the morning of December 15, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's residence and work at the Presidential Palace (1954-2024), General Secretary To Lam offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at House 67, the President Ho Chi Minh relic site in the Presidential Palace.

Also attending was Party Central Committee Secretary, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Nguyen Duy Ngoc.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, General Secretary To Lam lit incense sticks, respectfully remembering President Ho Chi Minh - the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people.

President Ho Chi Minh is the most beautiful symbol of Vietnamese patriotism and revolutionary heroism; a shining crystallization of the morality, intelligence, spirit and conscience of the nation and the era. President Ho Chi Minh devoted his entire life to the glorious revolutionary cause of our Party, our nation, our people and international friends.

His name and career will forever remain with our country, forever live in the hearts of our people and in the hearts of humanity. He left our Party, our people, and the generations of today and tomorrow an extremely valuable ideological legacy, a shining example of morality, style, and way of life.

General Secretary To Lam was moved to write his thoughts: “The President Ho Chi Minh relic site at the Presidential Palace - a special national relic is the place where the spirit of the nation crystallizes, marking a great man who devoted his whole life to the independence, freedom and happiness of the people.

Every corner here deeply depicts the mark of a simple, close but timeless leader. Coming here, we understand more clearly why President Ho Chi Minh is not only the pride of the Vietnamese people but also admired and respected by the whole world.

Coming here, we feel like we are coming home, close, intimate, full of affection and seeing Uncle Ho still here. Exactly 70 years since Uncle Ho came to live and work at the Presidential Palace (1954-2024), the relic site still echoes the heroic song of deep patriotism, steadfast solidarity and unyielding will to constantly strive forward.

The space of the relic site is an endless source of inspiration, fostering the will and belief for generations of Vietnamese people today and tomorrow. Each relic, each story about the years Uncle Ho lived and worked here is like a message to the future: live and contribute worthy of the legacy he left behind."

Talking intimately with the staff of the relic site, the General Secretary expressed that visiting the place where Uncle Ho lived and worked during his lifetime felt very close and warm, all the objects Uncle Ho used were very familiar and simple, exuding the image of a great leader.

Highly appreciate the staff of the relic site for their responsibility in preserving and promoting the values of artifacts at the relic site, helping many international and domestic visitors feel that Uncle Ho is always here with us.

General Secretary To Lam shared that according to Uncle Ho's will, his final wish was for the entire Party and people to unite and build a peaceful, unified, independent, democratic and prosperous Vietnam, making worthy contributions to the world revolutionary cause. Up to now, we can report to Uncle Ho that some of his wishes have been well implemented and we will try to continue to fulfill those wishes well.

On December 19, 1954, after the victorious resistance war against France, President Ho Chi Minh returned from the Viet Bac resistance base to live and work at the Presidential Palace.

It has been 70 years since he returned here, but his legacy is still present in every object and every corner of this place. The relics, documents and objects on display at the President Ho Chi Minh relic site at the Presidential Palace are the most vivid and authentic evidence, reflecting his life, career, ideology, morality and style.

During the 70 years that Uncle Ho lived and worked at the Presidential Palace, documents and artifacts about him here are still carefully preserved, contributing to serving the public to visit, research and study about the life, career, ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh.
