General Secretary To Lam offers incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh in Nghe An

In the atmosphere of preparing to welcome the new year 2025 and towards the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), on the morning of December 29, in Nam Dan district (Nghe An), General Secretary To Lam and the Central Working Delegation came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site.

Accompanying the General Secretary were comrades: Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission; Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission; Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; Senior General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security; Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee Office; and leaders of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces.

At the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, General Secretary To Lam and the delegation expressed their infinite gratitude and deep respect for President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of our Party and people, national liberation hero. The founder and trainer of the Communist Party of Vietnam. He devoted and sacrificed his whole life to the cause of national liberation, fighting for peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and people around the world.

Implementing his sacred testament, General Secretary To Lam and the working delegation pledged to continue to unite, join hands, make the most of opportunities and advantages, and promote all resources to make joint efforts to realize the goal of comprehensive, strong, and breakthrough development, bringing our country into a new era of development - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise; vowing to forever study and follow his noble ideology, morality, and style.

With the fine tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source” of the Vietnamese people, before that, General Secretary To Lam and the Central Working Delegation visited Chung Son Temple - the Temple of President Ho Chi Minh's Ancestors in Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District, Nghe An Province, respectfully offered flowers, incense, and expressed deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh and his loved ones in his family.

General Secretary To Lam and the delegation expressed their sacred sentiments and respect for President Ho Chi Minh, his parents, siblings and relatives, the souls of heroic martyrs, generals who sacrificed their lives on the battlefield, and the sacred spirit of the country.

The General Secretary and the working delegation promised Uncle Ho to always be united, follow his example and perform well the assigned tasks, contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, making Vietnam "more dignified and more beautiful" as Uncle Ho always wished during his lifetime.

On the same morning, General Secretary To Lam and the working delegation returned to the Memorial Site of General Secretary Le Hong Phong, in Hung Thong commune, Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An province.

General Secretary To Lam and the delegation expressed their respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of General Secretary Le Hong Phong and the heroic martyrs who devoted their lives to the cause of national liberation, peace and happiness of the people.

Comrade Le Hong Phong, former member of the Executive Committee of the Communist International, former General Secretary of the Indochinese Communist Party, is one of the outstanding leaders of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution, a close student of President Ho Chi Minh, and an excellent son of his hometown Nghe An.

With 40 years of age and 20 years of continuous and enthusiastic revolutionary activities, comrade Le Hong Phong left behind a shining example of a steadfast and indomitable communist, ready to sacrifice his own happiness and even his life for the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation; a typical example of an enthusiastic international revolutionary activist; passionate about studying and training tirelessly.

The life, merits and great contributions of General Secretary Le Hong Phong have made an important contribution to the victory in the glorious revolutionary cause of our Party and people; they will forever exist with the country, adding strength and encouragement to generations of cadres, party members and people in the cause of innovation, construction and development of a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
