National Economics University has just announced enrollment information for 2025.

Accordingly, in 2025, the school's total enrollment target is 8,500, an increase of 550 targets compared to 2024, of which 8,200 targets are for the regular university system and the rest are for the bridging system.

The school enrolls 73 majors with nearly 90 programs, including 2 new programs: labor relations and international trade law. Advanced, high-quality programs will be recruited from the beginning, instead of waiting until after candidates are admitted like in previous years.

The National Economics University's three admission methods are similar to last year. One is direct admission with 3% of the target, applied to students belonging to one of the following groups: policy beneficiaries, directly admitted according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; third prize or higher in national excellent student competitions; first prize or higher in national science and technology competitions.

Second, consider the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam with four groups, including A00 (math, physics, chemistry), A01 (math, physics, English), D01 (math, literature, English), D07 (math, chemistry, English). The threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) with this method is 20 points, as in recent years.

Candidates who are eligible for direct admission but do not choose this method will be given 1 - 2 extra points when applying for admission using their graduation exam scores.

Third is combined admission, for three groups of candidates.

Group 1 is for students with international SAT certificates from 1200/1600 or ACT 26/36 or higher. These are two popular standardized tests in the US.

Group 2 is for candidates with a minimum score of 85/150 HSA, 700/1200 APT or 60/100 TSA on the aptitude test. Candidates can apply for admission independently using this score, or in combination with an international English certificate such as IELTS from 5.5, TOEFL iBT from 46 or higher.

Group 3 is candidates with an English certificate combined with a graduation exam score in math and another subject. The certificate requirements are similar to group 2.

According to the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Training, schools must convert the admission scores between methods. Therefore, the National Economics University does not allocate quotas between methods (except direct admission) as before.

The school said it will use a 30-point scale. Candidates can still apply in many ways, but all will be converted to a 30-point scale for admission consideration.
