The Ministry of Education and Training said it agreed with the proposal and will consider reasonable adjustments to the proposal to deliver exam papers 2 days earlier for localities with many candidates.
The Ministry of Education and Training has just held a training conference on regulations and procedures for organizing the 2025 high school graduation exam for 63 Departments of Education and Training nationwide and recorded and answered many questions.
At the conference, a representative of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training stated that this year, Hanoi has about 126,000 candidates registered to take the exam, an increase of 17,000 compared to 2024, which is quite a lot of pressure for the locality. The city has also mobilized 16,000 people to prepare to participate in exam supervision.
At this time, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training issued a guiding document, advised the city to establish a steering committee, and then organized a training conference for the exam.
However, due to the large number of candidates, along with the majority of independent candidates registering for the exam in the last days, it puts pressure on the preparation team. In addition, the work of arranging the exam rooms is also quite difficult, exporting large data files, leading to a lot of time loss...
Regarding the printing of exam papers, Hanoi determined that this is an important task that needs to be done carefully because there are new points compared to last year. With the largest number of candidates in the country, the locality hopes that the Examination Steering Committee will provide the exam papers 2 days earlier than other localities to have time to prepare.
“Last year, Hanoi had 11 days to print exam papers, everything was very urgent while this year there were 17,000 more candidates compared to 2024,” said a representative of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
Printing and copying exam papers is also a concern for many other localities. Leaders of many departments proposed that the ministry should regulate the signs to distinguish the exam paper bags of the two programs (2006 general education program, 2018 general education program) to avoid printing the wrong papers, putting the exam papers in the wrong bags, bringing the exam papers to the wrong rooms, etc.
Regarding this, a representative of the Ministry of Education and Training said that this is the first year of organizing the exam according to the new program with changes in the exam method, reduced number of subjects, reduced time... It is necessary to thoroughly train the work of organizing exam sites, organizing exams, and grading exams when having to organize exams at the same time for both subjects studying 2 programs.
“Basically, the Ministry will agree and consider reasonable adjustments to the proposal to deliver the exam papers 2 days earlier for localities with a large number of candidates. Given the characteristics of Hanoi, the Ministry of Education and Training will reach a separate agreement with this locality,” said a representative of the Ministry of Education and Training.
