That is the message of the Da Nang Food Tour Campaign, announced by the Da Nang Department of Tourism on the afternoon of December 12.
Director of Da Nang Department of Tourism Truong Thi Hong Hanh said that implementing the plan of the City People's Committee on developing cuisine into a unique tourism product in the area from 2023 to 2030, the Department issued a Plan on developing cuisine into a unique tourism product in 2024, focusing on building and implementing the Da Nang Food Tour Campaign.
With the message "Enjoy DN food tour - Beyond Bites", the campaign not only introduces culinary destinations, local-regional and international specialties, culinary establishments selected by Michelin Guide but also brings tourists and locals exciting experiences with professional services, friendly and hospitable service attitudes and fascinating stories that contribute to making everyone's trip to Da Nang city more meaningful and impressive.

Specifically, from December 15, 2024 to March 15, 2025, the Department of Tourism will issue more than 10,000 culinary passports in both Vietnamese and English for free.
Tourists or residents with a culinary passport will experience local, regional, domestic and international cuisine, selected according to criteria of food safety, quality of special dishes, professional service with many special offers according to the program at 50 unique culinary locations in the city.
The Da Nang Department of Tourism has built the website www.foodtourdanang.vn as a digital culinary map to provide additional tools to help tourists explore the city's attractive and unique culinary world, including information on local specialties, Vietnamese and international regional cuisine, Michelin Guide selected locations, information on specialty gifts with a diverse list and 400 reputable and quality culinary locations.
In addition to the Da Nang Food Tour Campaign, on this occasion, people and tourists will have the opportunity to enjoy connecting events at the Christmas - New Year Festival 2025 (held for the first time in the city) from December 14, 2024 to January 2, 2025 on both sides of the Han River (Dragon Bridge area) with many unique and attractive activities.
Director of Da Nang Department of Tourism Truong Thi Hong Hanh emphasized that Da Nang Food Tour is expected to not only create new tourism products for the destination but also contribute to promoting the city's cuisine, attracting domestic and international tourists.
This is also an opportunity for Da Nang to enhance its culinary destination brand recognition on the tourism map of Vietnam and the world, contributing to developing cuisine into a unique tourism product of the city.
In order for the campaign to continue attracting domestic and international tourists, spreading the image of the city as a unique culinary tourism destination with many new experiences, in 2025, Da Nang will deploy many more attractive activities such as the Culinary Passport Program with the themes of Street Food and Fine Dining, Chef Tour program, Food Race, culinary activities and festivals...
The city cooperates with the Vietnam Restaurant Association and the Culinary Culture Association to conduct assessments of facilities, service quality and develop new culinary products associated with tourist experiences.
