Veterans of Regiment 515 meet to celebrate 53rd anniversary of its founding

On the morning of July 20, in Hai Duong City, the Veterans Liaison Committee of Regiment 515, Truong Son Army held a meeting to celebrate the 53rd anniversary of the unit's founding (July 20, 1971 - July 20, 2024).

*Leaders of the Vietnam Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Tradition Association presented gifts of gratitude to 12 veterans in difficult circumstances.*

Attending the meeting were Major General Vo So, Chairman of the Vietnam Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Tradition Association, leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Hai Duong City and more than 300 veterans of Regiment 515 nationwide.

There are thousands of veterans of Regiment 515 nationwide, with 100 in Hai Duong alone. At the meeting, the veterans recalled the time they fought side by side, opened the Truong Son road, fought bravely to protect the Fatherland; and remembered their fallen comrades. On this occasion, the Liaison Committee presented gifts of gratitude to 12 veterans in difficult circumstances.

Over the years, the Veterans Liaison Committee of Regiment 515 has done a good job of charity work, visiting sick and weak members, regularly maintaining charity activities, meeting twice a year to reminisce, connect, and help each other in life...
