Female soldiers in Hai Duong have braved the sun and rain on the training ground, steadfastly practicing for the country's important event - the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
Honor
Participating in the Vietnamese female peacekeeping bloc at the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Military Region 3 selected 128 female soldiers, of which Hai Duong had 10 people.
They are all professional soldiers, soldiers, and militiamen of the Provincial Military Command, Military Commands of districts, towns, and cities.
After nearly 3 months of training, from individual movements to coordinated movements, the female soldiers have mastered and performed them skillfully and accurately.
Senior Lieutenant, professional soldier Le Thi Kim Cuc, Medical Department, Logistics - Engineering Department, Hai Duong Provincial Military Command said she was very happy, honored, proud, but also felt a great responsibility when she was selected to join the female peacekeeping team.
"The training time was long and the intensity was high. There were times when I thought I couldn't overcome it. However, my family and relatives encouraged me, my superiors cared for me, and gave me more motivation to overcome difficulties and complete my mission well," shared Senior Lieutenant Le Thi Kim Cuc.
When she first received her assignment, Major, professional soldier Ha Thi Ngoc Hien, from the Propaganda Department, Political Department, Hai Duong Province Military Command, was quite worried. Major Hien had to arrange her family affairs properly, leave her young child with her parents to take care of her so she could participate in training.
The female soldiers all determined to put aside their personal worries and work, all for the common mission, wholeheartedly contributing their small efforts to the success of the ceremony.
Overcoming difficulties
During this time, at the National Military Training Center 4, the Military Training Department (General Staff), the Northern military and marching units actively trained and practiced together. Not only did they practice at high intensity, but the female soldiers also had to practice in cold and rainy weather conditions.
Female soldiers in the peacekeeping force, including 10 female soldiers in Hai Duong, not only impressed with their beautiful appearance but also performed command movements quickly and decisively, demonstrating the spirit of soldiers in the parade formation.
In recent days, the Military Region 3 Command and the Party Committees and commanders of agencies and units have always paid attention to and created favorable conditions for female soldiers to carry out their duties. Leaders of the Hai Duong Provincial Military Command came to meet and encourage female soldiers to participate in the parade.
At the meeting, Colonel Vu Hong Anh, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Hai Duong Provincial Military Command emphasized that serving the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification is an important task. Female soldiers need to try and proactively overcome difficulties in weather conditions, accommodation, strictly comply with regulations and orders of the Army, and practice seriously and with quality to ensure the best results in participating in the parade at the celebration.
According to the plan, female soldiers in Hai Duong will train and practice at the National Military Training Center 4 until the end of March. After that, they will move to Ho Chi Minh City to practice with other parades and marching groups across the country.
