Together contributing to building and developing the two homelands of Hai Duong - Hung Yen

On the afternoon of February 25, at the Nguyen Trai Retirement Club hall (Hai Duong City), the Hung Yen Province Association in Hai Duong held a meeting to celebrate the beginning of the year of the Dragon 2024.

At the meeting, comrades: Nguyen Dinh Tranh, Vice Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Quach Thi Huong, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial Fatherland Front Committee sent wishes of health, happiness and success to Hung Yen people living, studying and working in Hai Duong.

The leaders gave an overview of the socio-economic development, Party and government building in 2023; goals and tasks in 2024 of the two provinces. They affirmed that the common development of the two provinces has the positive contribution of Hung Yen people living in Hai Duong, and at the same time hoped that in the coming time, Hung Yen people in Hai Duong will continue to unite, promote the traditions of their homeland, constantly strive to fulfill their civic duties and assigned tasks, contributing to the common development of the two homelands of Hai Duong and Hung Yen.

The Hung Yen Association in Hai Duong currently has more than 500 members operating in 24 branches. Over the years, members have always promoted their hometown traditions, strictly followed the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; actively studied, competed in production and business, and participated in social work. In 2023, the association visited 96 sick members and held funerals for 7 deceased members.

On this occasion, the Liaison Committee of the Hung Yen Provincial Association in Hai Duong celebrated the longevity of 21 elderly members, including 6 people aged 90 and over; commended 9 groups and 27 individuals with outstanding achievements in the association's activities in 2023.
