Exciting activities of Hai Duong students in Thanh Giang commune

From July 28 to August 6, the Hai Duong volunteer student team at the National Economics University coordinated with Thanh Mien District Youth Union and Thanh Giang Commune Youth Union to organize a summer youth volunteer program in Thanh Giang Commune.

The Hai Duong volunteer student team at the National Economics University currently has about 60 members. During the 10 days of volunteering, the students participated in many meaningful activities such as: cleaning the memorial site where the Hai Duong Provincial Military Command was established and the Dan Thien historical site; organizing volunteer classes for primary school students; organizing medical examinations and giving medicine to people with revolutionary contributions; washing cars to raise funds, exchanging paper for gifts, painting murals; performing arts and folk games in the villages; building youth projects to light up the countryside roads...

On this occasion, the Hai Duong volunteer student team at the National Economics University presented 8 gifts to poor households in the commune (total value of 6.4 million VND), 10 gifts to disadvantaged students at Thanh Giang Primary School (total value of 2.5 million VND), and distributed 110 free medicines to people with revolutionary contributions (total value of 8.8 million VND). The team also presented 3 scholarships to students from families with especially difficult circumstances in Phu Tai 1 village with a total value of 7 million VND.
