On February 3, the Hai Duong Volunteer Student Team at the National Economics University organized the program "Tet Sum Vay" in 2024 in Thach Loi commune (Cam Giang).
The volunteer students visited and cleaned the martyrs’ cemetery, cleaned the village roads and alleys, and participated in cultural exchanges with local people. The students also guided students in making banh chung, drawing pictures on the theme of Tet, making New Year greeting cards, and organizing folk games such as tug of war, sack jumping, and ring tossing.
On this occasion, the Hai Duong Volunteer Student Team presented 10 gifts to disadvantaged students and 11 gifts to poor households in the commune with a total value of 37 million VND.
Previously, students organized a fundraiser "Exchange paper for trees", selling handmade products and hometown specialties at the National Economics University lecture hall, calling for sponsorship to have funds to give gifts and organize the program.
This is the 16th year that the Hai Duong Volunteer Student Team - National Economics University has organized the program "Tet Sum Vay" in their hometown.
