The incident happened on the evening of July 28 in An Doai village, An Binh commune, Nam Sach district (Hai Duong). A young man slashed his mother and aunt multiple times.
At around 7:50 p.m. on July 28, in An Doai village, An Binh commune, Nam Sach district (Hai Duong), Do The Huong (born in 1991) slashed his biological mother and aunt many times.
According to initial information, Ms. Nguyen Thi L. went to her sister's house in the same An Doai village, about 150 meters away from her house, to play when Do The Huong, her sister's son, slashed her head and arm. Huong also slashed his mother.
Two seriously injured victims were taken to Viet Duc Hospital (Hanoi) for emergency treatment.
At the scene, many blood stains stretched from the suspect's house to the village road.
According to people living nearby, Huong has suffered from mental illness for many years and lives with his mother in An Doai village.
The cause of the incident is being investigated by the authorities.
