Details of the 2025 Honda Civic hybrid version have just been revealed

At the moment, information about the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid is still quite limited, but the first images of this model have been revealed by the Japanese manufacturer. As expected, the red sedan will be sold (along with the hatchback version) this year.

First, the Civic's nose is refreshed with wider, more open air intakes and slimmer corner air intakes reminiscent of those on the Civic Type R.

The revised upper grille reduces the overhang of the hood, which resembles the nose of the current Civic. Otherwise, the headlights appear unchanged, as do the taillights, doors, and the rest of the Civic sedan's body.

Although specific details about the powertrain have not been revealed, Honda confirmed that this hybrid model will have a 2.0-liter 4-stroke Atkinson engine combined with a two-engine hybrid system similar to the Accord, CR-V or Civic e:HEV hybrid models for the European market.

In addition to the powertrain, the 2025 Civic models also get styling improvements.

The version shown in the photo is the Sport Touring Hybrid with exclusive diamond-cut 6-spoke wheels and body-colored extended side steps.

According to the Japanese manufacturer, this updated version of the Civic also updates new features. One of them is the infotainment system similar to the new Accord.

Honda expects the hybrid version to account for 40% of total vehicle sales over its lifetime. The 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid will officially launch in the summer of 2024.

The expected price of the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid is from 26,000 USD for the standard version and 35,000 USD for the highest version.
