Electric vehicle store fire in Bac Ninh, 1 person died

At around 4:30 a.m. this morning, January 4, passersby discovered fire and smoke coming from the electric vehicle business area of ​​a store and house in Lim town, Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province.

The fire quickly spread to the entire store with a three-room facade of about 15 meters and then burned to the three-story house inside.

Witness Cao Huong said some people came to knock on the first floor roller shutter to notify the homeowner inside and tried to put out the fire but failed. "A moment later, 6 people in the house including an elderly mother, a woman, a couple, and two children escaped outside," said Ms. Cao Huong.

However, according to this witness, the woman who had just escaped returned to the house to look for her mother because she thought she had not escaped and was then trapped.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Bac Ninh Province were dispatched to the scene. By 5:30, the fire was completely under control. Police went inside to search for victims.

Lim town leaders said authorities later found the body of a 35-year-old woman in the house.
